Bring the preschool kids to Fiesta Mall on Wednesday, October 7th at 11am to interact with police officers from MCCCD PD and Mesa PD who will be reading stories to them. Each child will get a snack and a free book from AZLEOS to take home. Parents/Guardians need to stay with their children at all times.
This program was started in Scottsdale and was a huge hit with kids and parents alike. We hope you enjoy it in Mesa just as much if not more! We want children to know they should go to the police if they are in trouble…not fear them. This is a great way to break down those barriers at an early age.
